Arboretum Work Parties
The Arboretum is maintained by the efforts of many volunteers. You do not have to be a member of the Arboretum to participate in a work party. All volunteers are welcome to come join us at any one of our regularly scheduled work parties show below:
- TWIGS (Task Workforce for Integrated Grounds Support)
- Meets every Thursday, 9am, at the Nursery
- Propagates plants
- Maintains the Arboretum's propagation facilities
- Does potting and planting
- Prepares plants for the Plant Sales
- Community Work Party
- Meets 1st Saturday of each month, 9am, at the Nursery
- Cares for established gardens
- Provides opportunties for community service projects
- Provides opportunities for both adults and youth
- Branches Work Party
- Meets every Wednesday at the Nursery
- Check Event List for time
- Renovates and maintains Arboretum gardens/grounds
- Does plantings
