Database Management
Welcome to the database management page for the South King County Arboretum Foundation (SKCAF).
Authorized users can use this page as the starting point for updating various lists (stored
as database tables) that the Foundation
uses in its management of the Lake Wilderness Arboretum.
Shown below are the tables that provides access to records maintained by SKCAF.
To add a record to a table, click on "Add Record" in the appropriate row.
You will be presented a form to fill out for the new record. If you want to view all the records in
a particular table, click on "List Records" in the appropriate row. Once the list of records
is presented to you, you can select any record from the list to revise or delete.
A brief description of each table appears below:
- Events  Top
This table serves as a calendar of events for Arboretum-related activities. It lists workshops, classes,
meetings, and other activities. Date, time, contact information as well as other related information is provided for
each event.
- Members  Top
This is our membership list. We use this table to help keep members informed about upcoming events. We
also use this list for newsletter distribution and volunteer recruitment.

- Documents  Top
This is a list of documents created to manage the Arboretum. Each document record contains a document name,
describes that document's contents, and defines its type (policy, procedure, etc). Using this table, a
page on our web
site lists all of our documents and provides a link to them.
- Newsletters  Top
This list contains links to all of our newsletters. Each record contains the file name of the newsletter,
its date of issue, and a summary of its contents. This information is automatically placed on our
newsletter web page.
- Registrants  Top
This table lists those individuals who have signed up for a particular class or workshop. This database
can be used by class and workshop registrars to see how full their classes are.
