This directory contains a set of documents that contain the findings of a financial management health checkup performed by the Jacobsen Jarvis accounting firm in 2007. A "Financial Management Health Checkup" is not a full blown audit of a firm's accounts and accounting procedures. Rather it is a review and analysis of the processes used by a firm to manage their finances. For small organizations such as LWAF, this type of checkup is recommended by Jacobsen Jarvis rather than a full-blown audit which can be very expensive.

The overall findings were that the LWAF financial management processes are operating effectively. No major problems were uncovered, but a set of recommendations were made to further improve our processes. Some of these recommended improvements have already by implemented, others will be implemented as time and necessity dictates.
